The type F flat roof window to be a winner of the “Golden Tile” award at the trade fair organized in Czech Republic

The innovation of FAKRO has one again been recognized. We are delighted to announce that the type F flat roof window has been awarded the “Golden Tile” at Střechy Praha 2016 Trade Fair.
The event was held for the 18th time in PVA EXPO PRAHA Letňany between 21 and 23 January 2016. Střechy Praha is one of the largest trade events organized in Czech Republic and Central Europe.
The 15th edition of the contest took place during the fair and involved awarding the product for the best exhibition display. The “Golden Tile” award has been granted to FAKRO type F flat roof window.
FAKRO which is the second-largest manufacturer of roof windows and loft ladders in the world presented products on the stand comprising the area of over 90m2. Company's booth caught a tremendous attention due to the presence of a wide range of innovative products. In addition to awarded type F flat roof window, a particular interest of visitors was attracted by windows featuring large glazed area, namely Duet high pivot windows and Galeria. The FGH-V Galeria is an innovative large roof window, in which, after opening, the sashes convert into a functional balcony. What is more, FAKRO presented highly energy efficient roof windows. The FTT U8 Thermo is the warmest roof window with a single glazing unit and Uw=0.58W/m2K available on the market. Visitors showed a significant interest in preSelect top hung and pivot windows. These new generation windows have two distinct opening functions, top hung and pivot. Additionally, FAKRO booth included different types of loft ladders.
It will not be an exaggeration to say that during this year's edition a range of the type F flat roof windows enjoyed a considerable attention, also including ColourLine version which greatly matched FAKRO booth and a new product – DXW WalkOn window. We often heard a question: “Can I walk the window?“ There could be only one answer: “Yes, you can! It's possible with FAKRO”. Participants of the trade fair who visited FAKRO booth were given a chance to test it personally.
