FAKRO and Mobilus at R+T Trade Show in Stuttgart

One of the most important international trade fairs for roller shutters, doors/gates and sun protection systems R+T Stuttgart 2018 took place between 27 February – 3 March. 1027 exhibitors from 41 countries presented their products in 10 exhibition halls, gathering more than 65,500 visitors from all over the world.

FAKRO, the second largest manufacturer of roof windows worldwide participated in the event and demonstrated its products at one stand with one of its partners – Mobilus Motor, belonging to the FAKRO Group. Cooperation between companies covers the area of electric control as Mobilus is a producer of, among others, tubular actuators whose operation has been shown in FAKRO products. They are fitted in innovative external sun protection screens such as VMZ Solar awning blind and VMB roll-up awning, which enjoyed a great interest of people visiting the stand. In solar versions available in the FAKRO range, an intelligent system automatically controls products depending on the insolation level. Thanks to the Z-Wave module, all products presented by FAKRO can work in the FAKRO smartHome system.

Mobilus Motor presented its latest, intelligent drive called MOBILUS KEEPER. Using an innovative solution, this drive can recognize wind gusts and safely roll up the awning blind, effectively protecting it from damage. “This solution has allowed us to give up the use of a separate wind sensor, which often does not reflect the real working conditions of the blind”, – commented by Tomasz Cała, Mobilus Motor Executive Director.
