FAKRO, a global manufacturer of roof windows was once again the organizer of international design competition for architects FAKRO Inspires – Space for New Visions.
The competition ofically ended on 3 October.
The task of the competition was to create a concept – visualisation featuring re-design of an existing public utility building with the use of FAKRO products.
We received a lot of projects that surprised us with ingenuity and innovation. They were evaluated by an international Jury composed of:
Indira van 't Klooster (NL) – Editor-in-chief of “A10 new European Architecture Cooperative”, author of Reactivate!of Duch Architecture (2013) and Forty and Famous, 10 interviews with young architects of Europe (2016).
Anna Judina (FR) – Author of publications on the architecture and design, curator, editor-in-chief of “Monitor” Magazine, author Lumitecture (2016), Furnitecture (2015) and Phase: the Architecture of Jakob+MacFarlane (2013)
Sabina Sujew (PL) – Master of Fine Arts, Export Manager of FAKRO
The Jury was faced with a very difficult task as the level of submitted projects was extremely high. The winners were chosen after several hours of intense deliberations:
